Ingrown hair- cyst problem?
I'm a 31 year old female. I had a pimple on my armpit for over 2 months. I would squeeze it ( probably a mistake)and a little pus would come out. 2 week ago I took a closer look, as I suspected an ingrown hair and tried to drain it as much as I could- again a mistake, since I could have easily infected it. It is smaller now, externally, But underneath the skin I can still feel a lump. I suspect it might be a cyst.A dr saw it when I had aggravated it and told me to keep it clean and leave it alone for now.
Is tere a remedy that can help it heal and go away. It doesn't hurt or bother me, but I'm afraid that it continues to 'work' underneath and build up.
