Crohn's Disease

I was just diagnosed with Crohn's Disease with colonic involvement and crohn's disease with ileitis.

To be exact; ileal mucosa showing mild acute and chronic inflammation, colonic mucosa showing mild acute and chronic inflammation and a crypt abscess.

I am experiences mild pain in the abdomen and pain in the rectum. At times I have constipation but when i do have a movement it is with mucuous. My feet are also terribly swollen.

I was wondering if you can guide me as to which remedies to take, and what to eat.

I have always been weight consciounse and have eaten too many raw vegetables, coffee, and diet soda's. I have always suffered from swelling and joint pains. I guess i just need to relax and detoxify my body.

I am on 12 pills of asacol and 10 mg.of prednisone
