Night Sweats and hot Flashes

I am searching for a remedy to help stop these night sweats and hot flashes.
I experience them every night between 2am and 3am
They wake me from my sleep
I feel hot to my core
I open the window and turn on the fan
I pray that I will cool down
Sometimes my Hair is wet
It could be due to menopause( I just kind of assume it is)
Sometimes after my sleep is disturbed by this nightly event I will find myself unable to go back to sleep, so I get up and try to be productive rather than watch the clock.
I also experience hot flashes during the day but the ones at night are so much more intense.
If you have any other questions for me I would be happy to respond.

I am a female
47 years old
I am a massage therapist
I like structure, am otherwise healthy
The heat in my body at night is my main suffering and it has been going on for about 4 months now and is getting increasingly more intense.
Originally it was only at night and now it is happening during the day.
The flashes during the day are not as intense or long lasting as at night.
At night I sweat:top of head and forehead, my armpits, my groin,my wrists, my ankles all heat up and feel damp
I always prefer to wear loose clothing
My periods have been irregular for almost 18 months now.
I do have a persistant thought, If its not one thing its another.....I recognize that I have control over what I think and have learned to control that to some degree but I fight it each and every day
My persistant thoughts always revolve around FEAR of something.
FEAR has always been with me its
Sometimes I am very thirsty but most times I am indifferent to drinking.
Cold and air always make me feel better
I am 5'2' and generally have always struggled with my weight. I manage to keep myself slim I am a size 10
The only meds I take are for thyroid I take a compounded med called T3.......it is the active form of the thyroid hormones.....it was determined that my body could not convert T4 into T3 the disease is called Wilsons Thyroid Symdrome.
I also experience leaking urine, usually on the way to the bathroom...once I think about going it is hard to hold it in. Having a period, usually make this disappear.
