Dry scalp, hair loss, acute dandruffI am 36 years old woman living in US. I had absolutely beautiful hair (if I can say so myself) until the age of 16 years. very silky, thick and long. My mother used to wash my hair with shikakai until I was 16 after that she told me to wash my hair myself. I used to use all sorts of harsh shampoos. Sometimes if the oil did not appear to go I would use body wash to wash my hair. All I cared about was that my hair should be completly devoid of oil so that I could leave my hair loose. After about 2 years dandruff started appearing on my scalp but I ignored it because I did not have any hair loss. but after a few months my hair started falling, in clumps. When i wash my hair it is depressing. I lose a ton. I have started applying oil now (ironical, isn't it?). I then moved to US 9 years ago and it became worse. My hair texture has changed. It is not silky anymore. It is rough, dry like straw and my scalp is itchy. I scratch it so much that pus boils form. I use jojoba + coconut oil. Jojoba oil has helped me with my itchiness. The first 2 days after i have washed my hair the scalp feels fine. then again it starts. I oil my hair on the weekends ( saturday) and wrap a hot towel around my head (for about 30 mins). Leave the oil on for a day.
My first marriage did not work out. I have married again. I am on anti depressants for 6 years now. I remarried 2 years ago.I do not have any children yet.
Other than depression I do not have any other kind of illness.
I am afraid I will go bald. I have sometimes considered shaving my head and using a wig. Sounds ridiculous? but true. I feel responsible for it.
Please help me. I seriously believe that it is due to the fact that I used very harsh shampoos on my hair and used to go without oiling my hair for weeks that my hair has become like this. I do not think stress and depression from my first marriage had anything to do with it because 8 years before i first got married my hair started falling.

Please do the following:
Acid Phos 200c 3 pills in the morning and 3 before bed. For 2 weeks. No coffee and no food or drinks for 1/2 hr before and after homepathic medicine.
Buy Thuja Q liquid, with a Q-tip apply on scalp every night. This will take care of your problem.
Also wash your hair twice a week with a Head and Shoulders, make sure to rinse thoroughly with luke warm water. Before washing rub table salt or dead sea salt on scalp.
Please make sure you eat lots of fruits and vegetables. take fish (salmon, cod and tuna) at least once a week.
After stopping acid phos do take B vitamin supplements and seven seas cod liver oil.
Also try taking Arnica 30c everyday.
Be patient, your hair will grow back.

Gingko Biloba, Coconut oil, Rosemary, Saw Palmetto. If you prefer to use cheap and effective natural hair loss treatment called Leimo bio cleansing shampoo and hair thickening conditioner.
Another method is Laser hair treatment if you wish to grow your hair back asap. The laser comb treatment will improve your hair follicle and blood circulation in the scalp and promote hair growth.
