Dengue Returns
Hi friends,Dengue Returned in my practice once again, but at this time the victim is myself.
The story begins from this Diwali when i visited my family in Ghaziabad where i spent one night where there was no protection from mosquitoes and they take the chance and infected me.
It was Sunday when i returned from Ghaziabad to Lucknow and after Lunch i went for bed to rest and after sometime i felt severe chill which required too many covering for relief.
For this symptom on evening and night i took Nux Vom 30C there was some relief but fever was present.
The next day there was also some fever but not so much chill.
There was frontal headache with eye pain with all these symptoms as well as some calf muscle pain in both legs.
On evening i felt quite much sick so I took amoxicillin 500 mg with vitamin B complex, but there was ill feeling in night.
I wake up next morning with feeling of weakness so I took China 200C and felt quite well after that whole day.
The next night at 3:00 am there was fever with thirst started which lasted for 7 am so i take Arsenic 30C one dose and did well with this for whole day.
After that i had no fever, no headache, no calf pain. So i take no medication.
But there was itching in palms and soles on thursday daytime which was so worse at night that cause me too wake up whole night and scratching i took sulphur, arsenic in night to control this but nothing help.
On friday there was some itching but not so severe, but it seem me to investigate for posible degue fever and The dengur was confirmed with platlet counts of 88,000.
It is now Tuesday today. i have feeling of sick and weakness and nothing else. i am taking plenty of fluid and plenty of rest and no medicine and hopoing feeling well in next two to three days.
I am writing these as how can homeopathy help for dengue fever with according to totality of symptoms.

One person died at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and many are hospitalised.
Even doctors at AIIMS have been infected by this dangerous virus and have been hospitalised.
I have been giving Eupatorium Perf.....has proved effective. In 2/3 days of regular medication..the body ache and fever are controlled.
Med should be taken for atleast 10 days as relapse is common.
Friends who have other suggestions , pl. post here.

Yes i would also like to add comments i suffered from disease and my family members also i tried rhus tox and Eupt perf as preventive and as curative also it started to control symptoms in just few hours only not took 2 3 days like allopathic medicines i found in these cases.this is my experience

My daughter who is 14 years old, recently suffered from viral fever. About two days back she developed mild rashes on one hand. The rashes disappeared the same day after we applied 'Calamine' lotion. Initially we were apprehensive that she has symptoms of Dengue fever. However, presently she does not have any fever, headache, nausea etc. I just read about Eupatorium Perf. Can I give this to my daughter as a preventive measure? If so, what potency and how many doses?

If there is an epedemic of Dengue fever in your city..you can give Eup. Perf....other wise select the medicine as per the symptoms of the patient.

Union Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss has asked people not to panic even as more dengue cases were reported from the capital and northern India.
'There is no need for panic. It is not an epidemic. Things are under control. There is a need for awareness,' he said.

Surely it a matter of great worry...becoz politicians never tell the entire truth.
So...if you are in Northern India...take preventive doses of the medicine recommended here.

As I understand it, the 1918 influenza pandemic started out as a misdiagnosed dengue fever. So, perhaps thinking of remedies appropriate for a very severe influenza. Eupatorium would be one of those.
Also, it is possible that this is how the current h5n1 avian flu will first appear as a pandemic, masked as a different disease. So I would be interested in hearing the extent to which it is confirmed the current outbreak is really dengue. (Fortunately, for homeopathic treatment the name doesn't matter.)

Doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi have already identifed the 'female dengue insect' (which breed on still water)as the carrier of the virus...as many cases have been reported with near identical symptoms...so the doubt does not exist.

At AIIMS in New Delhi..even corridors have been converted into wards....with dengue fever patients....Times of India has given photograph.
Homeopathic med is effective against dengue fever.
All those in northern India take advantage of the suggestions here.
Have also received e-mails from state of Gujarat that some viral fever is spreading.
Newspapers already reported 63 persons dead....in state of Kerala from chikenguniya.
Pl. donot underestimate the significance of the advice...for your own sake.

to me for chikungunya.I am getting excellent results
in just 1 day and pain in my joints are now comming

excellent forum on internet.[I had no hopes as I heard
that there is no specific treatment for this disease
in alopathy,I never took ANY medicine till this date
as my family doctor told me NOT to take any medicine
for pain relief as it gives adverse effects in our
body but now I found a light in tunnel so shared my

I am from Pakistan and the cases reported from viral fever are on a rise here too, infact quite a number of deaths reported officically which is always less than actual from hamoragic fever
Can you advice what dosage should be given to my newborn son 3.5 months and another almost 10 yrs old as a prevention.

Hello Faisal,
To the baby ...one pill of Eup. Perf. 200 and one pill of Rhus Tox 200 (interval of one hour)...morning and evening for 2 days.
To the 10 year old...two pills...rest same.
Give it under the tongue...and let it dissolve.
The above is preventive.
In an actual case...if internal bleeding is taking place...Phosphorus and Arnica are to be tried.
If fever shoots up very high....Pyrogenium 200 and higher potencies.

two drops of eup perf 200 per day in single dose, are not sufficient as a preventive dose?
does only its combination with rhus tox makes it work as preventive dose?
we have been taking only eup perf200 for 3/4 days now.
please suggest change if any.

I believe that eup-purf is the prophylactic and for treatment of dengue fever.But from my practical experance,i suggest to tranfuse of fluid and blood is very necessary for the correction of platelet.It is very necessary.If platelet count doesn't reverse back to normal,there is chance of dengue haemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome which may cause the death of patient.So don't waste your time.Take infusion of fluid and transfuse platelet for the correction of dehydration and platelet count.Along with you can try Eup-perf which will give you immediate relief.
