I think Calc.Carb-200 one dose(3 drop)twice a week would help out your son. Please continue it for a month and report again.

Should we wait to see if he improves and do nothing, repeat the same remedy in the same potency, or as he has shown a good response to Pulsatilla 30c and as the improvement has not lasted, would it be correct to assume that we can go up to the next potency (200c). If so how should it be administered? and for how many days? I dont want the boy to suffer any severe aggravations.

Organon says don't repeat same potency again and again, you will engraft the remedy into the constitution.
IF you think puls is right remedy then go with Puls LM1.
Just give a dose and wait till it wears out. After that 10 successions and then again a dose. This is as in 6th edition of organon
IF using C potency never repeat the same potency in proximity without waiting unless it is a spit dose and that too max 3 doses and wait.
