Possible sprain, shoulder to elbow
My Dad was recently given a 30 lb. laptop to use for work. He drives a large truck and was storing the case on the other side of his vehicle. After a few months of repetitively reaching across to lift it out of the vehicle, he started having a burning pain (similar to a sprain) from the top of his shoulder down to his elbow. The pain has lasted for several weeks and has even started waking him up at night. (Needless to say, he has stopped storing the laptop where it was.) He is now experiencing this pain while awake and not physically using his arm. Any remedy advice is much appreciated. Thank you.nicoleg on 2009-01-14
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
We have tried the 5 days and continued for 2 more days with little or no movement towards cure. He did, however, have a reoccurrence of pains of an old leg injury that quickly cleared.
Should we keep going with the arnica/ruta for another period of time, up the potency or change remedies altogether?
Thanks for your help.
