Homoeopathic or disease aggravation

I just recently gave Nux Vomica 30c single dose for a patient on last morning who was feeling chillness and feverish. Within 5 minutes he started to have marked aggravation which lasted for 35 minutes with severe shivering followed by high fever, followed by frequent urination followed by nausea, and lastly with very scanty yellowish vomit. Thereafter all suffering settle down to baseline, but not to normal and at 3:00 pm a single antibiotic was given by family and family consulted at 7:00 pm with mild fever, mild headache, and feeling of unwell feeling. I advised to give a single dose only two drop of Nux Vomica and surprisingly just within the patient started to have shivering which was absent and all the morning symptoms and lasted this time with large amount of yellowish sputum at 8:00 after which near complete resolution of all symptoms except fever and headache at 10:30 pm. This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

It appears that Nux is not his remedy as per symptom, therefore its does not help the patient. Now Pleas do not repeat it again and see the seconday action of the medicine or give an antidote to normalize.

Possibly...Nux Vomica neutralised the suppressive impact of allopathic meds and allowed the true symptoms to show up. Still...the course of action is the same as suggested by me in the previous post.

I do agree with dr. pnajkaj,it might be the reaction of allopathic medicines. Now the patient should wait for a week without any medicine and then with new symptoms new remedy should be suggested.

the patient is feeling fine and no fever without any medication.

It was cleary due to Nux Vomica either due to homoeopathic aggravation or drug aggravation.

case was distrubed by allopathic medicine so recovery hampered

Dear Dr.Rakesh,

Nux, IrisVer, Phos, Kali bich are all meds that help to restore the organisation of the liver.

Possibly Nux has done the total job. However, if symptoms re-appear or new symptoms appear then you know what to think of.

I hope you posted the question to seek a second opinion and not as 'kaun banega crorepati question ?'

medicinal aggrvation--disease symptom aggravtion---determine if acute flair of chronic ill--or an aute ill paassing through--either wy symptmas guide--after 1st dose nux and allthe mentioned symptoms occurred--u were to know if had prior inthis current flar up---important toknow if had in this flare or in past sometime-or never at all---if never at all- then things need be thought--nux is not the remedy--and other charateristis that occured r pointers to remedy needed--here is the pont if mediinal due to nux) or disease)--if in passing it was mediinal--and still nux is NOT the remedy---if remained in somefashion--then still nux is not the remedy----that overs if never ocured in health history ever suh---if had in the current episode of illness prior to 1st dose of nux--then nux is right choie--and will se betterment in mental aspet--a relief even if turmoil sems outside--but doc ant relax yet--need to acess if need interveen--depending on severity of outward response of nux------if had such symptoms in past and is typical thig ocur--BUT NOT in thi scurrent illhad happened then nux was only partila---and other remedy based on current symptomology wll be needed..

It is Sunday and last saturday (7 feb) at night when the patient had feeling of severe chillness and daugther gave him pcm and all symptoms subsided.

It was Tuesday early morning when patient's daughter reported for her to have severe feeling of chillness when she was advised to give Nux Vom on the basis of severe chill and history of suppression. and patient got aggravation and then ameoliration subsequently with not permanent.
