help for 7 month baby seizure history and current wheezing
hepatitis B shot given shortly after birthmy twin sister, not baby's mother, stated that he got very blotchy after this shot, whereas his skin was nice at birth. She was present at time.
baby had a uti hospitalized for a few days at about two weeks old
(his mother, my older sister had this uti issue at around same age, and had a lot of utis growing up)
baby had severe congestion and was deep suctioned at about two months old
was too sick to be vaccinated at 2 and 4 months old
at 5 1/2 months old baby was vaccinated with DTAP,ACTHIB, and Prevnar (this is the pneumococcal vaccine)
he had a cough at the time.
1 day later baby begins turning blue around lips, mom thinks he is cold and keeps getting him a blanket but it disappears before she can even give it to him. She thinks nothing of it, until the next day when he has a seizure, turning blue, floppy.
She thought he died.
rushed to hospital and stayed there several days.
First few days had many seizures. they were accompanied by quite a drop in breathing, we would have to put oxygen on him as seizure began. (seizure was in left temporal lobe through MRI done at time of one seizure, he would just go blank, stare become unresponsive and start to turn blue.)
After discharge from hospital on phenobarbital he has had many problems with wheezing in last two months. He was released just before Christmas. he also had an ear infection shortly after release and has completed antibiotics for it.
he has taken some asthma/wheezing medicine by mask.
I don't think I can convince her to get off phenobarbitol and try homeopathics for seizure prevention, but is there something for wheezing that would be safe for use at the same time as phenobarbitol. The doctor wants to put him on Qvar for his wheezing and I am astonished and desperate to find an alternative as it is not approved for children under 5.
My understanding is the wheezing isn't even that severe and I don't think he has had any asthma attacks. I can try to get more info though if it will help.

fer is what ur up against--prinary care taker of child--has right to not trust anything besdies what she herself trusts--even if ill comes from such as vaccines---u willhave tough press to get her swing ur way---but if u not homoeopath already then u have less of a leg to stand on--and IT is hard find real deal anyway---many claim but fall short--but most wont admit there short comings---perhaps best way start is no more vaccines for a while allow child stblize---strat on some quality probiotic --udo super 5 ok--child quality--since used antibiotic--u urself keep log and note as child stablizes--take down concrete valid symptoms--get homoeopathy literature to educate urself on things to look for--this help greatly---as well will show ur true concern--at least u can trust urself to use homoeopathy wise--and consult here for ideas alos
