Child Learning Disability
Hello Dr,We are in USA and I have a 4 year old son who is going to a special school for learning disabilities. His language skills are very low when compared to children of his age. He loves music, very good in numbers and reading books, hates when he hears laughter + applause in TV. For the most part he will not answer unless he really want to and never asks any questions like other kids. He is also not comfortable playing with other kids and prefers to play/stay alone. He is skinny and craves Pizza/donuts/sweet items.
One more thing, he closes his ears and hums if he encounters anything that he is afraid of. He grinds his teeth during sleep regularly.
Our doctors have not diagnosed with autism but they just told us that he has a developmental delay.
Can you please help my son to recover and be a normal kid like others ?
