Went through all the links provided by you.. All the links were very informative but I found the one written by George Lukas most useful so as to identify my miasmatic state better. As far as physical symptoms go I couldn't relate much to sycotic and syphillis miasm in all other articles. But as far as personality type goes I agree somewhat with sycotic state as explained in George Lukas article but I do not agree with syphillis miasm to much extent. Following are the mental symptoms I agree with, in respect of sychotic miasm written in the George Lucas article but apart from the following nothing else matches my persona:

1. The sycotic person has an inclination to show off. A sycotic woman walks in the street and cuts a dash. Heads turn around when she walks by and that is what she seeks, consciously or even unconsciously.

(This was the case till few years back and mostly when I was in college but now I don't pay much attention to the show off part).

2.Another major feature of the sycotic person’s mental sphere is a tendency to keep things to oneself.As for emotions he keeps them inside him as well. Although he himself wants to be the focus of everyone’s attention, he does not open his heart to his partner when he is in trouble.

3.Sycosis is secret. The sycotic person tends to keep everything secret, out of sight. This may happen either consciously or unconsciously. For instance, he may keep his aims secret, he does not reveal much about himself and he hides his real intentions. He also hides his real feelings. When he is sad, he does not look as sad as the circumstances require. That’s why he seems to be strong in other people’s eyes.

4.He shows inflexibility in the way of functioning, that is to say. This stiffness coexists with a tendency to have control. The sycotic person wants to have control over other people and over himself as well. He keeps every expression, every emotion of his under control. He cannot stand the spontaneity of emotions and acts. In general the sycotic person is dogmatic. To him it is all black or white.

I am having very high fever (102) severe cough and acute pain in chest while coughing. I didnt take any allopathic medicine as yet coz I dont know whether it will interfere with my ongoing treatment and I dotn want to negate the positive effects of medicines. Please guide me can I seek allopathic help for my viral/ flu or there are homeo remedies for such flu.
Also my young brother aged 19 yrs is suffering from high fever (it was 104 last night and was given ice pad treatment) cough and same symptoms as me. Is there any homeo remedy for him as well?

For last one week my skin has fared really well..though new pimples are coming up but the rest of the skin seems so settled and clear..If I look at myself in the mirror from a distance then my skin seems to shine..Now I can easily wash my face as theres no pain and cyst on my face to touch..The size of new pimples is small with yellow/ white top mostly around nose and there are few big painful ones but face seems much better. But loads of scars are still there to get rid of

Update:

My skin was doing really well for one week or so. But again there have been spurt on my face mainly on chin. The pimples are big in size but not cystic. The face still seems tolerable and the remaining skin seems clear and not dirty. There is reduction in oiliness. As there is again eruption on my face I dont know whether the medicines i have taken for my flu (rhus tox, gelsemium, bryonia) have interfered with the action of Natmur which I have taken 3 weeks back.

Dr. Kadwa/ Dr.vikas who are right now present at the forum please suggest do i need to repeat a dose of Natrum Mur 200 or do i increase the potency to 1M. I have also started the cell salts as prescribed by Dr.Niel which I quit for almost ten days due to flu/viral.

Thank you so much for your response. I would like to update again on my symptoms. All my symptoms are back i.e. acne, constipation, cold and cough. I fared very well for a week or ten days and my skin seemed very bright despite small pimples. Now the pimples are mainly in clusters (on ebig pimple surrounded by white pus with tiny pimples). Still face is not as bad as it was a month back.

As far as Silicea is concerned I have not taken silicea 200 or 1M yet. I have just taken Silicea 30 few doses and I didnt respond very well or I may say i was so impatient that I might not have given it enough time to work (at that time I was new to homeopathy and I had no idea it takes some times for remedy to work and it shouldn't be interfered with any other remedy). If you read my case history you must have got to know that right now I am on Silicea 6x along with kali sulph 6x and cal sulph 6x.

Please guide further. Thanks once again for all yr time

1. Natrum Mur is a hot remedy and you are a chilly person. Why do you and Dr. Niel think that you are Natrum Mur.

For Dr.Niel choosing Natrum Mur for me, I never questioned him why he has selected that particular remedy for me. I just wish Dr.Niel could have been here to answer the query as I am not a fit person to reply. But initially when he started my treatment with Ignatia I did ask him and he replied in detail which is there at page no.1. And I was very much convinced at his selection of Ignatia after he gave his views. And I just know that Natrum Mur is chronic of Ignatia. Secondly one more very qualified homeopathic doctor started my treatment with Natrum Mur 30c which I left in between as I wasn't happy with the pace of results. Only Dr.Niels conviction made me wait for results.

2. Under Mind the MM for Natrum Mur reads Psychic causes of disease. There is no doubt that all our problems are psychosomatic. In your case it seems that your physical problems are not coming after you going through a big mental shock.

Ans: Yes thats true that my physical problems don't come after any shock or something. Infact there is no shock like situation but yeah day to day stress is there and so you can call my problems as phychosomatic.

3. Similarly under Skin for Natrum Mur nowhere do we find any reference of pus formation.

Ans: Yes thats right even I have not come across the same but my knowledge is very limited so I can't decide on it. Also I believe that Dr.Niel was not really treating my skin but was giving me constitutional treatment.

I have gone through details of Silicea and physical symptoms match to a great extent.

Welcome back to the forum..I am really glad to see you back and I wish you best of everything.. In your absence Dr.Kadwa has tried to help me a lot and I thank him for that. Please read my posts from 7th Aug onwards and advise further. I shall be really grateful

Physical symptoms:

The thing which is troubling me most is Constipation. Have got fissures and its really painful to pass stool. I am experiencing the same from almost 10-12 days

There is some problem relating to frequent and involuntary urination. I am not able to hold it strongly and have a constant urge to urinate. Even after I am done I feel still something is left in bladder.

Also experienced the cyst in labia just for once but it disappeared in 2-3 days

Now the most important issue thats acne. Face is much better than what you have seen in the pics all thanks to you. Just two weeks back skin was almost shining with no new acne and it remained like that for few days but now acne is back with whiteheads all around. There is not much pus as the pimples are small in size but top of the pimple is yellow/white. They are not as painful as they use to be. Overall 70% improvement from those big ugly boils but they have left severe scars. I hope it all goes away soon and I am sure it will.

Mental symptoms:

Mental symptoms are not really good. I am not feeling very cheerful these days. As i already wrote about myself that I am a very cautious person and I dont trust everyone easily. Now I think I have started thinking negative about everything and everyone around. I am not jealous of anyone but I am becoming over possessive for the ones I love

I will take NatMur 1M tonight and will continue with Silicea 6x. Do i need to stop Kali sulph 6x and calc sulph 6x which i hav been taking along with silicea 6x for 3-4 weeks

Dear Dr.Niel

I have taken NatMur 1M dose as prescribed by you. I added few drops in a quarter of a small bottle and took it. The next day peon in my office didnt wash the bottle properly and added more water to some of the water still left in the bottle and involuntarily i drank the water again. Now I am afraid whether the water from the same bottle amounted to 10M and whether I have messed up with the dose. Please tell me what should I do now. Secondly I have read that 1M dose takes 4 weeks to show the results. Do I need to wait for four weeks for the remedy to show the effect. Though I feel that constipation has started subsiding. Last update i forgot to mention that I am having some sort of itching in the thighs and on the face and nose. Now today I saw two reddish pink patches on both the thighs. I think they are the result of continuous itching on my thighs.

Also I shall be grateful if you can clarify Dr.Kadwas doubt dated 17.08.09 that NatMur is a hot remedy and I am a chilly patient so why was it prescribed to me.

Mentally not very good.

I read the thread in the morning and liked it very much. I wouldn't agree with it very much. My moods have been off and on. Sometimes I have been very happy and cheerful but then for last two weeks I am not very happy and calm. I have started getting angry again :(
