mom and baby colds

My daughter and I have colds. She is nursing and I am trying to take something that will work for us both. Used Ars Alb last night. It might have helped, but not sure. This morning tried Hepar Sulph. I think it helped for a while but I'm not really sure we fit the symptoms and it didn't really stop my runny nose.

Daughter's started Wed pm to Thurs am. Stuffy nose during night.

Yesterday runny clear nasal discharge, no fever.

During the night her nose was runny from about 12 to 3 am. Fussy.

Today, runny yellowish sometimes bubbly nasal discharge. Fussy wants to be held more than usual. No fever. Some watery eyes.

Mine started about a half day later,,Thurs I had scratchy throat, some runny nose.

Last night runny nose in bed. Throat dry.

Today costantly running nose. Started out thick yellowish, maybe greenish. Now it is watery and burns. No fever. A bit of a headache above eyes. Dull ache.

Is Hepar the right one to continue or is there something that would fit us better?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Calcarea Carb comes to mind, and Dulcamara.

A friend was having trouble like this and kept forgetting to take the homeopathy I gave him. (of course, "him")

He went into the health store and was told to try a chinese remedy: Yin Chiao (chien Tu Pien) He got immediate relief.

I wouldn't suggest this for young children though. They are so sensitive. Maybe after beginning school when all are exchanging their germs.

Calc Carb is so good for babies. 200X there about. For a baby every two hours for 3 times and then one every 6 hours for 3 times, only if needed.

Blessings, Sabra
