This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Her Sciatic pains started some 7 or 8 years back.So perhaps it was in the beginning that she was given a range of medicines by inexperienced house surgeons at the govt hospital...
As far as i know she has never taken an excess of any remedy as she is aware of ,to some extent ,the principles of homeopathy.

Actually i had thought of Pulsatilla and Bryonia but it seems that u have taken these remedies without much benefit , hence now i am in a corner as to what to do .

First of all, this is a syphilitic case, so , think of Lachesis, Arsenic, Hepar Sulph or Sulphur.

In my mind, you should try Sulphur 200c single dose.

All her sensations are burning, she is of strong will power, loves her family , has anxiety about family, has tremendous hurry, walks fast, is warm blooded and wants windows open.

Added to that her knee pain worsens from rising from a sitting position. Has bitter taste after eating (big time syphilitic symptom).

All Sulphur symptoms above.

Try Sulphur 200c single dose.

Sulphur has never been tried on her and i know that for sure.

Ok ,what is the brand .

Remove the water from the bottle so that around 120 to 150 ml remains then pour 2 drops of Sulphur 200c in it .

Wait for few minutes , after that gently shake the bottle so that the drops get spread out .

Take one capful from this , throw away the remaining medicated water . Please wait for 10 days to assess the impact . No more medicine .

Please do not eat or drink one hour before and one hour after taking this capful .

Avoid tea , coffee and strong smells in the house for next few days .

Wilmar Schwabe.Reckweg will take another 15 days if i order today.So i got this.

I will do as instructed.
Should she stop the biochems that were suggested?

Please suggest what she can take in case she has a panic attack.

I have a bottle of Pure Aloevera juice. I was wondering if my mother can take it.What do you suggest?

Hi sir,

The medicine i got is from the Wilmar Schwabe brand.

If i have to buy the medicine from the Reckweg brand then i will have to place the order 15 days in advance.

Will aloe vera juice interfere with her homeopathic medication? It is pure Aloe Vera juice with no additives.

Today she was literally crying due to the pain in her legs.She says it has aggravated after the last medicine.I hope she will improve

Stop aloe vera juice if possible.

It is a medicinal substance.

Hello Dear Mr.Vikas and Mr.Sameer,

I remember the first time she complained of bitter taste in mouth was when she was given an aurvedic powder by her dentist after teeth extraction some 10 or 11 years back.
I am not able to recall the name of the aurvedic remedy.
But after that day she has always complained of either bitter taste or a salty taste.
I just thought this info may be of some help in her case.

Hello Doctors,

The report 10 days after a dose of Sulphur 200c is as under :

1) Right leg has become stiff.Bending the right knee is very difficult due to stiffness..Pain is very sharp from 7am to 12.30am.
After 12.30am ,the pain reduces.
2) Can't stand or take even a few steps.
3)Still very difficult to get up from the sitting postion.
4) Heartburn still persists.
5) Boil under the lower has reduced.
6) The pain in the thumb had reduced but has again started paining.

It seems this patient had a good response to Causticum, prescribed by the homoeopaths at the hospital. Why was this remedy discontinued?

My mom says her anxiety has reduced after the dose.

Earlier she used to have a weepy mood. She seems to have overcome that feeling.She seems bright and active.

Her sleep pattern remains the same.

To Brisbanehomeopath:

There is no one to monitor her case at the hospital.The doctor who sees her today will not be there tomorrow and an altogether new remedy will be given the next time by another doctor.This will only harm her.

Also she was asked to take Causticum continuously for more than two weeks which i thought was not correct.I asked her to take only 3 doses instead.

These were the reasons why we discontinued the remedy.

This is what I had expected.

Mental symptoms improved, physical symptoms aggravated from Sulphur, this is the curative direction.

Nothing is to be done now. Just wait and watch. This will be a very slow process at this age.

Update me in 1 week from now.

Hi Mr.Sameer,

Sure.I will ask her to wait and watch.

One remedy that helped her Sciatic pains in the initial stages was Argentum Nitricum.She didnt have any pain for almost three years.
After that it came back more severely.

The knee problem is a recent one.Sciatic pains aggravated along with knee pain.

The last remedy was Medorrhinum.This remedy aggravated all her problems to the maximum.

Hi Mr.Sameer and Mr.Vikas,

Here is an update from my mother after a week:

1.Severe pain in both the legs.Cant easily bend the knee of the right leg.Great Stiffness in the right leg.The thigh muscle has become hard.

2.Severe heartburn.

3.Sciatic pain in both the legs.

4.There is a pain in the finger nails due to nail fungus.

My mother wants to know if she can use any creams or pomades to lessen the pain in her finger nails.

She can clean the fungus with regular anti-septic like savlon or dettol but avoid using ointments.
