hi,

Homoeopathy treats the indivisual , and not his particular symptom.
Moreover, sleep is a constitutional feature. So we need a proper history before we can suggest you any remedy.

Here is the questionnaire:

Try to answer as many questions as possible. Some may be irrelavent to you.Just skip those.

1.What is the main reason you need treatment?

2.Describe your complaints giving the following details:

a. What does it feel like?
b. When does it happen?
c. What sort of things make it worse?
d. What sort of things make it better?
e. What else was happening when it first appeared?
f. Describe the quality of the pain, being as creative as you can. How would someone else imagine the pain happening to them?
g. What does it look like?
h. Do any other symptoms occur immediately before, during or after?

3. What illnesses have you had in the past?

4. What illnessess run in the family?

10. What foods aggravate you? (including allergies)

13. What is your level of sexual energy like?

14. How is your sleep? What position do you prefer to sleep in? Is there any position you cannot sleep in? Any unusual behaviour during sleep?

15. Have you had any reoccurring dreams or images/ pictures/ themes that repeat themselves in your dreams? Please describe.

16. Describe your menses (periods). Describe any PMS. Have you been through menopause? Any gynecological problems?

Hi,

Are you reserved/ shy/ non-talkative. Just a guess from your reply. It is very short, and precise.

What dream were you told about? What did you feel after hearing that? Sad/ scared/ angry.....

You have only gas or any other associated symptoms like nausea/ vomitting/ acidity/ too much belching etc? Is the bloating of abdomen? Complaint better/ worse after any specific food ( like bread/ sweets etc....)

How do you react to stress? Do you cry often?
are you sentimental?
Do you prefer company/ like solitude?
Why dont you feel confidant? What exactly do you fear ? ( failure? what people will say? sense of incapability? ....)

What feelings do you have about your parents? Any memories of childhood?

Any dreams?

Please answer these questions as THESE ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN KNOWING YOUR PERSONALITY.

Sleep disturbance is a "deeper" problem that needs proper evaluation.

Keep posting...

yes, I am reserved shy, do not have many friends. The dream was that I was going to die. I felt scared. I have gas/acidity/belching. no bloating of abdomen. Worse if I don't eat regularly during the day.

My parents did the best they could.

dreams, can't remember them

Hi,

What treatment have you taken for this complaint?
In which country do you live?
What is your age?
Are you a male/ female?

You need to be more open for us to help you.

From the information you have provided , we can come to a group of remedies like Lycopodium, Silica, Pulsatilla, Calcarea.

For further differentiation, you need to give MORE INFORMATION about your constitution as much as you can.

The questionnaire that I had posted had MANY related questions.
And those ARE required.

If you are a female, we need to know about your menstrual and obstetric history.

We also want to know WHY you dont feel confidant ( This helps in selecting a remedy. for example, Lycopodium doesnt have confidance, but if he is asked to perform, he does it very well. Calcarea has the fear that everyone will observe his confusion, so he doesnt feel confidant.....etc....)

Do you understand now the importance of all those fine questions?

Which weather do you like? What food do you crave/ dont like?

We can help you if you come up with more details.

There is no easy way out in Homoeopathy unless one wants to "try" one medicine and then move on to the next if the first one doesnt help.

But that is not the way one should do.

Take care...

Hi,

Let me first answer your question.
I am a doctor.

From the information you have provided, it is not possible to come to any specific conclusion.

The symptoms you have given are:

1. Low Self Confidance
2. Complaints since you heard about that dream ( which scared you) This is a good characteristic symptom.
3. Craving for sweets
4. Thirst ++
5. Reserved, shy, less friends
6. nervous
7. Gas , acidity, belching

From these symptoms , it is hard for any homoeopath to arrive to your constitution.

My guess: you could be Lycopodium ( most symptoms covered)

You could also be Silica if you perspire profusely.

You could be Pulsatilla ( marked low self confidance)if your moods are very changeable. But Puls is usually thirstless and is better in open air.

Anyways , talk more about yourself if you feel like.

take care....

Hi,

Are you reserved, your answer to my question was very brief. I asked a specific question about your experience and got a brief response. You want to know a lot about me, but I don't know anything about you.

What specific information could I give you to get a better determination.

Hi,

I am not atall reserved.
My every post to you is atleast double the size of your answer to it....dont you think so?

My answer was enough.

I asked more information from you because YOU want advice or treatment.
And in homoeopathy, we cant suggest you something for a chronic problem if we cant study your constitution.

I need not tell anything more about myself ( I would have told everything to my doctor though, if I were a patient...)

Now I wont ask you all the questions again.

Go through all these posts again, and you will understand what info we want.

Otherwise you can follow any advice based on your Diagnosis of insomnia .... but that is not how homoeopathy works.

Regards.
