Infected insect bite

My daughter has an insect bite on her calf that seems to be getting infected. The area around the bite, which has a scab, is pink in a circumference of about 4 inches. It has gotten larger since this afternoon.

I've given her Apis 30c with no improvement. She has always had a terrible reaction to insect bites -- and Apis has never seemed to help.

Now I'm concerned about this circular area that is pink and hot. Any other suggestions besides Apis?

Thanks,
ruth

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
And it is better for cold applications and she has put Calendula gel on it with no improvement either.

please try echinacea Q 5 drops internally at ever gap of two hours and see. It can also be applied externally.
