The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Toddler w/ Coxsackie Virus

My daughter (32 months) had a high fever for 3 days. On the 4th day the fever went away and white blisters appeared on the tip of her tongue and on her lips (inside and out). I took her to the doctor who diagnosed her with Coxsackie Virus. Since the blisters appeared she drinks little and eats almost nothing due to the pain of the blisters. She also wakes up very often during her nap and at night due to pain. I checked my 'Homeopathy for children' book and the Remedy Finder tool on this website for a adequate remedy but get multiple results: Borax, Mercurius sublimatus corrosivus and Nitricum acidum. Can anyone with more experience please advise. Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
On the basis of symptoms reported by you, borax seems to be indicated.

Please give her three doses of borax 30c daily at a gap of 4 hours for 2 days and report back after 3-4 days.

Thank you!

I forgot to mention that her breath smells very foul and she sweats a lot when she's sleeping. Her lips also became very dry.
Is Borax still the right remedy?
