Dr. B, I am doing as you said in your last post, but I am wondering if I should be seeing ANY changes at this point. The oils from my face have been getting in my eyes and burning.

Have not heard back from you for a while. I did stop the Merc Sol after a few more days, it was giving me a weird taste in my mouth so I stopped. My face does not seem to be as oily the last few days since stopping which is very nice. So do we just wait and see now if this holds?
Now about the herpes... can this be cured?

Hey sorry for the delay in response, i had been traveling a lot, It is good that you stopped the medicine, i know you don like waiting but you have to do it now, mer sol is the medicine for both your herpes and the oily face, of late i am trying to correlate your herpes out break to the medicine mostly. Because when a skin gets supressed for a long time it will lead to weird conditions, now since your herpes is out hold on we can solve both togather easily.
All you have to do is, just wait for another week.
I assure herpes can be cured for sure. do not worry.

I was infected in 1992 with HSV2 (he lied about having it!). I got the initial flu-like symptoms for about a week and then that was it. I did not get outbreaks or symptoms until 2007.
I got outbreaks that last about 2 weeks. I don't really think I get the fluid filled blisters but my entire genital area gets red, swollen, burning, itchy. I probably do get blisters it is just hard to see them with the swelling and redness.
I have had two IgG blood tests. I got one in 2007 to make sure the outbreaks were HSV2 and my results were 2.81 and I tested negative for HSV1. Then I used a mineral product that claimed to cure herpes that I purchased online here http://www.resolveherpes.com/products/
During the use of this product I did not have anymore breakouts and thought I was cured but then I got one. They said I should test negative 90 days after the product ended, but I waited 1 year to make sure, but I still tested positive and I am getting outbreaks. This IgG blood test I took in 2009 was HSV2 9.3 and still negative for HSV1.
I read all over the internet and from doctors that herpes in not curable and that it will always be in my nerves. They can't figure out how to get it out of the nerves where it hides.
Currently my last outbreak has subsided. It was just the same as I described above. I usually feel just a little itching in one particular spot but not too bad. I have started taking 2000 mg of L-Lysine each day as it is supposed to keep the herpes from emerging. I have only been doing this for a few days so I don't know for sure if it is helping me feel normal.
I am so surprised that you say herpes can be cured! I am hopeful but how will I know for sure if I am cured? I will look for your reply!!! Thanks so much Dr. B!!!

Thanks for the history, as of general medicine, what ever you said is right, once infected it is not curable and all we can do is control the symptoms, which can leave you happy with a comfortable sexual life, the virus cannot be detected and it cannot be destroyed, this is what i have also studied and written in books, but standing in a point were we are using homeopathy, there are chances as these medicines if rightly selected has the capacity to act at the genetic level even. so we can try curing it. the only way you can find out if you are cured or not is by the help of blood tests and also i should say if you do not have any outbreaks, then we may have to repeat the test repeatedly then we can claim we have cured it.
So lets hold on with a positive notion.
But if you ask me as a general physician my advice is herpes is not curable, it is controllable.

Dr. B, I like you positive notion and if you feel homeopathy can cure the herpes, then I am on board with you to make it happen! Suppression is better than breakouts, but being cured is much better than just suppressing! Lets go for the cure!

Yes getting to the nerve and the cellular level is difficult, all u have to do is buy and keep belladonna 30 and arnica 30 in liquid and we can use it when we need it, that is if you get an outbreak. so you have stopped all medicines for almost a weeks time now isnt it? lets wait for another week to see what happens and then decide alright.

Now, are you saying we can't cure me from herpes unless I have an out break? or can we kill it without an outbreak?

no it is not necessary for you to have another outbreak, we can go about it right away. I know there are lots of people out there with herpes, lets hope for the best. we will try to get the virus out first and then once the blood tests proves negetive then we are there.

The oily face has been, not too oily in fact! It is slightly oily, but the past week I have not had to wipe it off every hour nor is it running into my eyes. This is good! So it isn't 'normal' but it is much improved.

ok, a bad update today. My face got pretty oily today and I could smell the bacterial odors from the gasses it produces.
And I don't know if this is related to the oil but I assume it is, that I have been getting some big cyst type pimples. I had one the other week under my left eye and there is still a mark there from it. Now I have the same kind of big cyst pimple on my right temple and one right along my underwear line.

Right now I am noticing oily face with a bacterial odor. With the return of the excess oil the creases in the nasolabial folds by my mouth are deepening (as before). I eat healthy, drink lots of water. I am not typically hungry or thirsty. I do notice a sweaty smell coming from armpits during the day since I don't cover it with antiperspirant. Mentally I am stressed working full time stressful job, and also going to school full time, and raising kids alone. Physically I am lean, tone and fit. The only other physical thing is the HSV2 but I am not experiencing an outbreak right now. I urinate may times throughout the day, bowel moves about every other day. I average about 6 or 7 hours of sleep a night. Despite all these things I am usually in a good mood and very friendly. Memory/ability to recall words or things has been a little fuzzy recently. Sleeping well but can't remember dreams or if I have dreamed. Have also noticed heart palapitations when I lay down at night on left side so I cough and roll on back which seems to regulate the beating back to normal.

Hi thanks for the post and you have got me everything needed, well it seems that the slight reduction has geared up again, so i should ask you to continue merc sol 6c for another week, just one dose every morning, and by then i will get you another remedy which will change the course of treatment.

Hi Dr. B, It has been a week since last post and stopped with the merc sol early because I was getting weird pimple-looking bumps that felt kind of burny just at the top of my forehead. They seem to have gone away mostly but now I am having pimples on my temples and philtrum. It may be related to having my period right now but I am tired of dealing with something new to deal with everyday. It would be nice to just be normal and not have oily face, pimple face, or herpes (if you know what I mean!) : )
