Low Platelet

I month later my father is suffering low platelets (approximately 30), low WBC/TLC (1.7), after getting 13 days treatment from hospital his platelet are improve to 125 and TLC to 24.7. Now during last 7 days two CBC test are done,
First CBC - (platelets = 79, WBC = 6.1)
Second CBC – (platelets = 69, WBC = 4.1)
Please note that my father is 65 years old and taking medication for heart and kidney.
Please provide me your guidance for improving my father platelets.
