regarding antidotes and length of remedies before being allowed to take

i have heard that some homeopaths disagree that certain substances can antidote. i have also heard that some homeopaths think that 'if the correct remedy is chosen, then even common antidotes can be taken without any effect on that remedy' (to paraphrase).

so i am wondering:
1) can people take things such as coffee, camphor, mint, marijuana, eucalyptus, etc, after they feel a remedy has worked?

2 )if so, how long after, in general, would someone be able to ingest such 'antidotes?'

of course we hear stories of how someone had a coffee years after treatments and all symptoms came back, but i am asking in regarding to usual, general cases studies.
i have a friend who is a trained homeopath and he said i should go ahead and do whatever i want while in treatment with classical homeopathy.
i don't know what to make of that.

Yes.

If the purpose is served ie the symptoms for which the remedy was taken are taken care of.

Such stories are very amusing. These can be allergic reactions.

This is his opinion.
