In such cases the med is originally manufactured by another manufacturer in a low potency.
The second manufacturer uses the lower potency to make it into a higher potency.
Just for example:
Company A manufactures Silicea 30x
Company B buys the Silicea 30x and then makes Silicea 6, 30 , 200 and 1M
from the Silicea 30x purchased by it from the original manufacturer.
On the bottle the Company B will write normally:
'made from back potency obtained from Company B'.
