This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
No, it is not. When one has a symptom like this, I suggest one take one or two more doses.

If homeopathy causes a response that is uncomfortable, one takes another to balance the action.

another dose did balance
the hunger.

I don't understand how though.

the first reaction was amazine. I felt like a saw is cutting my foot bone (metatarsal) - the injury pain became a reumatic pain. and than a great relief - in a quantum leap.
I feel like alice in wonderland....:)

People have been raised on fear. If an allopathic medicine gives a reaction, it is said to be caused by an unavoidable side effect and put up with. Accepted.

In fear of the unknown as we are tought by the MDieties...if a homeopathic remedy causes what we see as a response, people run to grab an antidote. The treatment is interrupted and possibly of no use.

What actually has happened is that the suppression in the body as been released in some way or another. Completely individual and no way to know before hand or by any other "pre-set" idea of symptoms or "belief" of side-effects that homeopathy DOES NOT HAVE, regardless of one's view. A release, not side-effects.

So it has been found that after the release, a dose or two more of the same will THEN heal the origional suppression. The remedy brought it out, then the same healed it.

This is the "law of Similars." Many times we have no idea how to understand this, but it is there non the less. What we actually search for is the "cause" but in this day and age, finding happens seldom. Arnica does not list any increase in appetite, but the opposite.

All this, of course, is not written in stone. Sometimes one will change to another remedy to heal the released suppression, but it is a good idea to try the original first.

Always the present conditions. Always watch the symptoms in the now, while comparing the former to see any similars, and yet in your case, this was not helpful, only that another dose healed where the first released.

Now you know why we want so many symptoms and ask so many questions, and sometimes cannot help no matter how we try.
