Croup and Aconite 200c
Hello,My 20 month old son has croup and the barking cough started yesterday. Up till that point I treated him with Aconite 30c. When the barking cough started, he was quite distressed and sitting up in bed wheezing and coughing, so I gave him Spongia 30c. This settled him for a while, but the next time he woke up coughing I gave him Aconite 200c because I had read that the higher potencies were more useful for croup. (I don't have Spongia 200)
That worked great and he then slept peacefully the whole night :) My question is, if the barking cough recurs tonight, can I repeat the Aconite 200c?
Many thanks.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes you can repeat. There's a famous Nash trio which is useful for croup. That's Aconite->Hepar sulph.->spongia (and if necessary, the cycle can be continued again). You may consider this cycle for repetition.
