Pain below rib cage on left side

Hi there,
About 5 years ago I had this pain below my rib cage on the left side. When the area of the pain is touched, it makes a kind of clicking sound (like those safety buttons you get on the lids of some jars). I mentioned it to my GP at the time in passing & he examined me quickly & told me it was a hernia but that it wasn't serious. After a couple of years the pain disappeared & I forgot about it but now it has returned. Any advice on what homeopathy I can use? Does it even sound like a hernia?

Could be an outgrowth of a cartlidge type material . Try a low silica say 3x twice a day for a couple of weeks.
