Labor

I am expecting in next three weeks. What would you recommend to fasten the dilation of cervix? Also I am planning to have a natural birth without epidural, after the birth do you think arnica and hypericum will be enough for the after pains? One last question, is it ok to use calendula ointment for the tear or episiotomy. Any kind of labor related help is highly appreciated!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Glad to note that you have identified the correct remedies to help you after you have delivered your baby.

I have used Arnica 30c in place of Morphine which they gave me IV after my Prostatectomy and Diclonfenac Sodium after Herniatomy and proved that Arnica was by far more effective in pain management in comparison to the drugs and other harmful drugs that are commonly used in hospitals without any consideration of the after effects they cause in the long run.

I would suggest that you take Arnica 30c in the Dry pellets immediately after delivery. Dose 2 pellets every 2 hours sublingually for the first day and every 3 hours thereafter. It is very likely that on the second day all your pains will be history and you can then use Arnica 30 in the Wet dose twice daily to help you to recover soon. Arnica is very safe to be used and will not harm your baby in the remote possibility that it can be transferred if you are breast feeding.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack aka Liquid Dilution in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
If this is not available the Dry dose in pellets may be use but this is not as effective as the remedy in the original Ethanol pack
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle or 5 Pellets and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.

I would not recommend that you use Hypericum and I do not think that you will find it necessary if you follow my instructions and use the Arnica 30.

Calendula ointment will help to fight any bacteria after the Episiotomy. Your Gyne can decide if this is necessary as a tear is more difficult to heal.
