Post Knee Surgery Pain

I am so happy to have stumbled onto this website! Bless you for all the help, information, and support you offer...

I'm 60 years old, vegetarian for 54 years, and normally very healthy. But I had knee surgery 5 months ago to remove an inflamed bursa injured when I fell, and even though I've regained full mobility, it still feels very tight, inflamed, painful, and there is no feeling over half my knee. The orthopedist said to just give it some time. But I suspect that there may be internal scarring happening, and I want to take action while I can...I'm wondering if it's too late to do anything about it? The Dr. really had to scrape the inside of my knee to remove the inflamed bursa sac - could that be the cause?

Namaste...

Please practise these pranayams regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. You may practise at any other convinient time. The only restriction that you have to follow is not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. You can have meals not within 15 minutes after finishing these exercises.

You should do the exercises sitting in a chair. It is not advisable to fold legs after surgery.
