Giving pet rats homeopathic remedies
Pet rats are small animals weighing no more then 1 to 1 1/2 pounds.I need the most cost effective way to stretch the use of a remedy without rendering it useless. Seems there are many recipes for mixing up homeopathic remedies. I have read on the internet 'dissolve one pill in 4 ounces of water, shake 10 times, dose is 1 teaspoon' to 'dissolve 1 pill in 1 teaspoon of water, shake until a foam forms, dose is 3 drops'
Can't make a rat take 1 teaspoon of a remedy in one sitting.
What are opinions please?

Hi Sandra
You can dissolve the remedy in a needle less syringe and can squirt the medicine into it's mouth. You need not push in all the liquid you have in one attempt.
Or you can mix the remedy with water and give.

'Can't make a rat take 1 teaspoon of a remedy in one sitting.'
Put this 1 teaspoon of medicinal solution in some water in a separate vessel/container and place that during usual drink time. You can empty it out for the next dose and add some fresh water to that container.
