fucus ves & nat phosph

Hi!
I am 21 yrs old, female and quite overweight. Recently I read in Boericke's Materia Medica that Fucus vesiculosus is a good remedy for obese persons. Is it ok for me to take it? I have the tincture with me. I am also going to take Nat Phosph for obesity according to previous discussions on this forum. Will these two medicines taken together produce anything undesirable?
Please help.

Hey Catchmehere44, how are you doing?

Since I have been practicing Phlebotomy, I find you have the most impressive desire to loose weight that I have seen.

Where obesity is associated with thyroid trouble, this herb may be very helpful in reducing the excess weight. Devise a care plan that emphasizes long-term diet and exercise, family support, and the avoidance of dramatic swings in body weight. A team approach to therapy, involving the efforts of nurse educators, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, and counselors, is likely to prove most effective.

Best wishes,
