Blood on Outside of Ear on Cat

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone handles animals and homepathy but we noticied dried blood on the outside of our cat's left ear today. She is shaking a head some and seems to have some discomfort.

This is a cat we have been watching for a month or so and we did recently change her food. She was on dry food and we bought her wet, canned food from a Nutrition store.

Is there anything we can do to help her?
Thanks!

Hi, I'm in no position to reply to a homeopathic Q. I'm here to seek advice as well, but with my cats when they display these symptoms it is usually either ear mites, which will show as a darkish (black/red color) substance in the ears, an ear infection (can be leaky, discharge or just red), or possibly just a good ear cleaning needed. The blood on the outside of the ear could be from your kitty scratching at the ear due to the discomfort & scratching with the claws. Sorry I can't help you beyond this with any remedy advice. But thought I'd tell you that I have encountered this too, and I hope your kitty gets to feeling better soon!
Good Luck with finding your answer! From another animal lover...Doodles
