8 mnths pregnant wife having severe back pain in night

Hi

My wife is 8 mnths pregnant and she feels severe back pain in night. She is unable to sleep due to this. Also her legs are swelling much. Could you please suggest some good medicine to cure her ?

(Her gynecologist says she cant give any painkillers at this stage)

Everything you've described sounds normal. The last few weeks of pregnancy are extremely uncomfortable and often painful. You have to consider how much strain her back is under right now - her stomach is throwing her weight off balance, and her back is straining to keep her upright. A heating pad might help alleviate some of the pain temporarily, but probably won't feel extended relief until after you deliver. You can try to do some back-strengthening exercises if you think you can handle them right now - they might help. Also, try to do a bit of stretching.

Aesculus is the remedy for Back pain in pregnanacy.. you can give her aesculus 30 1 dose and wait for 3-4 days..
