This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Also, why could mother tinctures cause serious side effects?
I dont understand.
It says it on the bottom.

Mother tincture is not a medicine. Mother Tincture may cause you all damages what a substance is suppose to cause. That is the reason mother tinctures are available only on MD's prescription.

Oh right, it seems that i can order it off the internet without perscription, if the mother tincture is diluted enough would it be ok then?

no. mother tinctures are only for prescription use. if you want to avoid lactose and sucrose then buy remedies in liquid form in potency - i.e. liquid 6c, or liquid 30c. The liquid is usually pure alcohol + water.

windwaker - am i confused here - are you talking about homeopathic mother tinctures or herbal tinctures????

So, mother tintures contain lactose and sucrose?

Um, well Kuldeep sugested Phytolacca Berry mother tincture.
So would that be homeopathic or herbal?

from what i read on the phytolacca suggestion it was not specified as homeopathic mother tincture but understood by you as this. the herbal remedy would not be strained/clarified as the homeopathic and may be made up of part or all of the plant, not sure on this. from what i understand the homeopathic mother tincture is usually made either from the roots of the plant or from the berries. you have probably specified and received the one made from the berries. as far as i understand from my materia medica it would be ok to take the homeopathic one made from the berries. I don't think a good manufacturer would sell them to you by internet if they were dangerous - there are homeopathic mother tinctures that are but usually then prescription only. check it out with kuldeep if this is the tincture advised - i'm sure it is.........good luck with it

Thanks you so much for clearing that up for me, Much appreciated.

Most materia medicas suggest dose also. Phytolacca root is toxic but berries are not. Materia Medica also suggests using Phytolacca Berry';s extracts.

It is difficult to obtain mother tincture in some countries becausse of the laws. In countries where Mother Tincture is available, it is diluted to the extant the toxicity is almost removed.
