Pus after heart surgery
A friend of mine had heart surgery many years ago. However, the scar on his chest has not completely healed. About a month ago there was pus oozing out of the scar. He took a course of antibiotics which dried up the pus for a month. After the antibiotics, he developed gout in his right toe. He did not treat his gout. When the pus came back, he took Hepar Sulph 200 which helped him for a few weeks. However, since last week the pus returned. He told me that he took Hepar Sulp 200, three doses in three days and is waiting to see what happens. If someone has experience with this type of problem, any advice would be much appreciated.boncela on 2010-06-04
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please start with low potency Silica say Silica 3x or 6x thrice a day for at least one week.
Then at 8th day Silica 200C once a day for at least 2 weeks.
After that wait a week.
After that:
Bellis Perinis 30C once a day for 2 weeks.

After that:
Bellis Perinis 30C once a day for 2 weeks.

A world renowned Homeopath 67 years of age, living in India who is also the author of many books on Homeopathy many of which are on the Web and who is a close friend of mine informed me a few weeks ago that he too had a similar experience after a Triple Bypass Heart Surgery which he had undergone 3 years ago. He reported that he had a leakage of pus from the sutures one of which had never healed. Several scans were done and he was given many courses of antibiotics which helped him temporarily but when a constant fever affected him he went into surgery a month ago and the surgeon discovered and removed some debris which had accidentally been left behind.
This is the price he paid for his Bypass Surgery which has left him unable to practice normally during this period.
I have persuaded him to take Arnica 30c in the Wet dose twice daily and he reported that he is rapidly getting back to normal. I might mention here that as a Classical Homeopath he had some reservations on using my Arnica therapy but he confirmed that both he and his wife have taken my advice and feel that this daily dose has done them both a lot of good.
Indirect contrast I would like to add that at age 81, I am still as active as I have been throughout my long and eventful life. I have always been moderate in all my persuits, including eating habits. I have exercised daily for at least half hour throughout my life and spend some time in helping others who seek my assistance in many ways, including Homeopathy.
It is rarely that I get angry. I never lose my temper even though I am haunted by a pseudo classical type on this Forum who shadows each and every post I make on this Forum and invariably criticizes them. He persists in doing so due perhaps to some compulsive biological urge he was born with to be difficult, even though he is fully aware of the fact that he is only making an utter fool of himself in the eyes of visitors to this Forum who read his diatribes. His attitude may be due to his intense jealousy at the success of my Joepathy which is a term that he coined himself 5 years ago to describe my therapy which he refused to consider as Homeopathic as I treat the disease directly and not the symptoms alone as is done in classical homeopathy. To me the cure of the patient is paramount. Not the methodology used in doing so.

Pus or pus like liquid after bypass surgery is mostly due to the blockage of lymph return paths when arteries are removed.
Sutures and left behind derbies too contribute and compound the problem.
My father had open heart surgery and he had the same problem and doctors told him to live with the problem. Arnica cured him half and remaining job was finished by Bellis Perinis.
Silicea is recommended for the pus and derbies to be drained out first.

Thank you Girilal and Joe for your helpful advice. I will pass this information to my friend and let him decide which is the best option. Personally. I think Silicea, then Arnica followed by Bellis Perinis would be the way to go.

at a stage he must stop Silicea 200C. Then Belis Perinis and Arnica in rotation. In that case buy both medicines in 6C potency.
