baby with asthmatic symptoms

Hi there,

My 16 month old started getting back to back illnesses a few months ago, and she is still getting upper respiratory infections (colds) to this date. With her current cold, she is starting to cough alot, which always seems to end up inducing asthma-like behavior (wheezing on the out breath, not able to sleep at night when the cough is worse, etc)...how can i prevent asthmatic behavior from coming on?
She is easily irritated, clingy, also wants personal space and doesn't like being touched too much by folks other than me. She has a slight clear runny nose, and coughs while lying down, particularly when she arises for the day. She also can get into crying fits, where she bangs her head onto her mattress, or even the floor, repeatedly (i've seen her do this when she hurts herself, or has had ear infections in the past).
Thank you for your time!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Tarynleigh,
Cough cold when treated with allopathic medicines they suppress the cough cold pushing it deeper further towards asthama thereby reducing the immunity and causing the recurrence.
Give her homeopathy let her body throw out cold & expectoration she will cough & sneeze a few days the toxins will be thrown out then she wud recover fully.
You have described her condition beautifully in sickness tell me if you think something is left to describe about her.
next post i will suggest u a remedy

Thanks for your reply...
I NEVER give my children allopathic medicines for just that reason, this is why I am on this forum!
My daughter is quite physically strong, sensitive, very verbal (and quite loud at it!). She is extremely sensitive, and is not a great sleeper, as she wakes up easily at the slightest noise. It is almost as if her nervous system is on overdrive.
It is the cough and asthmatic symptoms that come along with cold, and the constant back-to-back respiratory illnesses that worries me.
Thanks again for any help you can offer.

She bang her head on the floor, When she does so? why?
She actually bangs or just threatens ?
If she is cross or ill she is irritated, she cries then how does she get pacified does she get pacified easily or not?
Any fears?

my baby actually bangs her head on the floor repeateldy, or even on the wall, when she falls and gets hurt. She will do it sometimes when she has an ear infection too. I think some of it is frustration, and some of it is because she is doesn't do well with pain. She does not purposely bump her head hard, but it is definately a repeated bumping.
When she is hurt and really upset, she does not get pacified easily. She will not take the breast, nothing will do. Sometimes she just rolls around on the floor, arching her back, and flinging her body around, all the while crying incessantly. She does not take the little bumps and bruises that most babies get when learning to walk, etc, very well.
I am curious if there is any remedy that you can recommend that will not only address these peculiarities, but also addresses my concern re: asthmatic cough and breathing.

Thank you.

How do i make the dilution???

Also, as i was observing her just now, i was reminded of her peculiarities. She is 3 years younger than her big brother, and when she gets frustrated with him, she will either hit him OR herself. I just watched her get frustrated when sharing a toy with him. She hit him first, and then hit herself over, and over again in the head with her hand.
I just wanted to add that extra info...thank you again!

oh, and i forgot to add that she screams a high-pitched scream that hurts the ears when she is frustrated. This happens on a great many occassions throughout the day. Would chamomilla still apply?

You get chammomilla 30 as a dilution in the homeopathic pharmacy take 2-3 drops of it in 20-30 ml of plain water as a single dose
You said she screams too loud that only confirms my remedy
She will improve for sure

I have never seen a dilution in our stores. Can I make it? Or can I give her in the pill form?

You can dissolve 4-5 pills in 20-30 ml water and give it to her.
