Symtoms driven inwards by allopathy

I have sometimes mentioned my concept of the return of old symptoms as having a relation to a human tape recorder. This relates to Hahnemann’s work pointing out the danger of suppression. Also Kent’s frequent mention of the fact that in the best and most positive cases the old symptoms [ that have been suppressed – driven inwards ] reappear in the reverse order that they were driven inwards. I:E , the most recent appears first and the oldest last.

THE HUMAN TAPE RECORDER.

Allopathy is often referred to as “the symptom curer”. This is because they assume that the illness is contained totally in the symptoms. Which from a Homeopathic point of view is absurd.
Starting with Hahnemann Homeopathy has always had the concept of a
Life Force/Vitality from which all illness originates.
Also there is the point that each individual has an inherited pattern of weakness, A Predisposition or, Path of Least Resistance, which is taken by all symptoms that are driven inwards and is also followed as those symptoms are thrown out; by homeopathic treatment on the way to cure. .
It is this Individuality that is at the root of constitutional treatment. To match the individual to a remedy is the ideal or objective. All remedies have patterns of indications, just as all individuals have a predisposition [ or pattern] .For instance it is not possible to mistake a Arsenicum person for a Sulphur person .
Suppression is possible in many ways and, remotely, can even be the result of clumsy homeopathy. A life style can cause a sickness of the Life Force. The outcome of addiction to stress and the resultant Adrenalin, may be Poly Cystic Ovaries [PCO] or Fibroids.
I have dealt with a case where stress caused a depression of the Immune System, to the point that Toxoplasmosis was part of the patient picture.
But above all and way out in front is the use of crude drugs [pharmaceuticals] to “cure” a set of symptoms. When a symptom is driven inwards by such allopathic treatment, it follows the Path of Least Resistance which leads it to the internal apparatus, that I think of as the Tape Recorder. There the vitality – or life force – is “soaked up’ by the need to control this problem. A problem which it had sent to a vent at the ‘surface ‘ to relieve internal pressure- thus creating the “Symptom” ‘cured’ by the Allopath. Totally closing off the natural ‘vent; created by the body.
The more often this process is followed and the more symptoms that are driven inwards,the more vents that are closed, the longer becomes the Tape. And the more of the Life Force is “soaked up” leaving less at the disposal of the body.
Eventually a set of Chronic, Incurable symptoms are in place and the suppressive measures of Allopathy are useless. The patient is told I am sorry but there is nothing further we can do for you.
It is at this point that they often turn to Homeopathy in desperation. But by now it is very late in the day and whilst it is not impossible to “unwind” the Tape it has become very difficult and requires a great deal of time and skill. Of course it is easy to see if the tape is unwinding and the most recently suppressed symptoms are re-appearing.
After the start of treatment one of my first questions to patients is “Has this symptom ever happened in the past”. But the patient often says “You have made me worse!”. This happened so often I prepared a standard sheet, pointing out that this ‘unwinding’ process was in fact part of the cure and that normally old symptoms returned only for a day or two as part of the process of cure.
The problems mentioned above can also be created by drugs that are not pharmaceuticals but narcotic . There have been cases of the ‘sniffing’ of cocaine creating a hole in the tissue between the two nostrils . A clear indication of a basic Miasm [syphilitic] being brought to the surface.
