Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome

Hello, I’ve been diagnosed with Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome (immune system seems to become directed against the person's own kidneys). My urine is foamy and very dark in color; per my test results I have moderate blood in my urine. I have gained 30 pounds in a short about of time. My ankles, legs, abdomen and face are swollen. My doctor has me on 60 mg of prednisone and 80mg of furosemide (water pill). The water pill is not working, I don’t urine as much. I’m in pain and sad because the way I look. Please help!
