dead abcessed tooth
3 years ago baby tooth injury, turning it grey (front right tooth). Now, abcess, round raised red bump on gum, tooth slightly loose. Painful only when touching gum. Abcess for 2 weeks, swollen glands in throat. Don't want to have it pulled as child is 5 y.o. Any suggestions?inspired on 2005-03-28

Be assured that if this is a baby tooth, 5 years old is when teeth begin to come out. A gap is not bad because it will happen several times until the exchange of teeth is done.
I am concerned about the gum flesh and the adult tooth waiting to come it. This may cause a future difficulty?
Go with Passkey's suggestion for now, even if healed, may decide to remove it.
