I think I have medication overuse headache, please help!

I've always been a headache sufferer, getting a strong headache at least once a month. The past 3 months I've been getting daily recurring headaches which last for about 3-5 days, & usually occur around/after menstruation right up to after ovulation. I was told that this could be Medication Overuse Headache, due to using painkillers for headache too often. I stopped taking painkillers completely for about a month & suffered the headaches but then came down with flu & took medication which had paracetamol in it, now the headaches are back, it is day 3 of headache & I'm now desperate. The headaches seem to subside slightly in the evening but then I wake up with a dull ache which gets progressively worse throughout the day. Please help

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Bit unusual here - most times conditions are better when the menses start . So we have an easier job selecting remedies.

In this case we come up with only two and the strongest is Pulsatilla -- followed by Carbo Veg.

On a basis of periodicity [ at 28 day intervals] Sepia also shows up .

If you are Fair and Pale try Puls
If dark and olive skinned try Sepia.

Use 3 doses of 1M each one at 24 hr intervals.
