Acute remedy please
I started to have the following symptoms over the past 36 hours...I'd like a suggestion please--sore throat on left side
--throat feels constricted
--throat feels dry, but mouth has a lot of saliva
--roof of mouth raw and sore
--unquenchable thirst
--sores on gums and one painful sore on left cheek
--mouth feels hot
--eyes feel hot and heavy
--feels chill around 5 am.
I am woman in 30's, tall, slight build, fair skinned, good appetite, does not like damp warm weather, skin reacts to just about everything, skin always dry.

Wow...so just since I wrote I have had --a substantial increase in saliva, --throat feels more tender, --eyes burn when I blink --difficult to swallow, --lips feel a little feverish --feeling body chills and --crack on left side of mouth/between lips.
I should note that as a child I would get like this every year around mid October but have not felt like it in a very long time, probably 16 years. It worsens with evening or night air and I have to rest a lot for at least two days. Apple juice provides temporary relief.
I hope someone will share their suggestions to me. Thanks!

I don't drink cold liquids as my stomach doesn't like it, so I am drinking apple juice that is just a little cooler than room temp. It temporarily soothes my throat. I am craving colder liquids in the evening.
This morning my eyes look weak and I have a thin white coating on my tongue which I do not usually have. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast and it was difficult to concentrate in my yoga practice.

No, mood is good....no change. No other symptoms that I can think of. For a couple of days before these symptoms began, my urine was a little cloudy but that resolved itself.

Thanks for your advice Dr. Sameer. I thought some sour soup might make me feel better and had some tonight, but it hurt my throat too much.
It will take me almost a day to get the Lachesis as I do not live close to a dispensary...I will get back to you with progress, I am hoping, soon!

Just to update that I will start this remedy tomorrow morning. I am still having symptoms and I get very exhausted around 3:30 pm and want to go cover up.
I am going to assume that I should stop taking supplements. I take low dose D-Pantothenic Acid(Vitamin B5) daily.

I am feeling quite a bit better now. The sores/ulcers in my mouth and throat have 85% healed.
Thanks! I was considering taking Kali Bich to rid myself of the remnants of mucus left, especially on my chest... it is hard to cough up. This remedy works for me usually , especially when I have a throbbing sinus headache like I have been having for the past while and dreams with conflict in them. I want to know what you think. Will it act as an antidote? Should I try something new/different?

Do not take any other remedy.
85% improvement so quickly means, you should just wait, wait and wait. Even further doses of the same remedy will act as interference.

Hello Dr. Sameer,
Seems that my symptoms have re-appeared.
The difference is that my tongue is NOT coated this time, rather just pink with red tip, my face gets hot especially after 8 pm and I get very exhausted, still a lot of water/saliva in my mouth especially at night, in the morning I have mucus in the back of my throat, sores on tongue on left side only. Also, the mucus in my throat and nose seem to loosen up after a bowel movement. The mucus is clear and smooth.
I can sleep for 10+ hours each night.

Oh, and thought it important or maybe relevant (you be the judge :) ) to mention cause I didn't last time when giving you my description that my nose and head are extremely sensitive to chemicals, smoke etc. Tobacco smoke and heavy perfumes can leave me ill for hours after. I know this is more of a chronic symptom but thought I would mention it just in case it is of importance to the case.

Sorry for double posting.

Just rubbing up against it aggravates. It looks red and slightly inflamed. There is no discharge and it isn't an infection. The opposite side is fine as usual.
Do you feel it's related?

Itching on the labia is a good sign, as ailments should move towards outer levels through the correct remedy.

My throat has become much more raw and painful and I made some marshmallow root tea with honey earlier to coat. I am uncertain if this is antidotal or not. I hope it's okay as it has temporarily helped me and I have a presentation this evening.

as I have been in bed for the past two days with a full blown flu and fever. I also now have an ear infection and I am constipated, probably from not moving around enough.
I am sure the flu will pass though in a couple of days or so with rest. I was very much hoping to avoid becoming this sick.

That can happen when an acute has advanced far enough, then a homeopathic remedy (especially in viral cases), sometimes is not able to reverse it.
If you think this will pass in a couple of days, no other remedy is needed.

Thanks. I do not usually have the flu for so long...usually 3 days and it's gone. It's the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, so not a great time to be in bed! ;(
