gum inflamation

I have inflamed gums on my left upper jaw...they bleed easily and are a bluish purple color. Also the gums are separated from my teeth. From what I have found, I think I need to take Kreosotum, but the problem is I am breastfeeding. Does anyone know if it is safe to take while nursing? And does it sound like Kreosotum is the right thing to take? TIA

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A bluish purple discoloration of the gums suggests that there is an inflammation and infection of the area with very little blood supply for healing the area. Kreosote is certainly a good medicine for the same. You can also take a mixture of Echinacea mother tincture and Calendula mother tincture, twenty drops in a cup of water, morning and bedtime for about a fortnight and a Dentist's opinion taken about the progress.
Homeopathic medicines would not come in the way of lactation nor in anyway affect the breast fed child too.
