sudden joint pain with fever: Dr Pankaj or Dr Kadwa plz help
Dear Doctors,My mother suddenly complaint of severe pain in knees in evening. that followed by chill and fever.
Kindly suggest some remedy urgently.
she is feeling severe pain with chill. fever at presnt is 101.
Plz help.

Meds you can try are :
Rhus tox 200 (if you have wet weather in your city).
Colchicum 200
Bryonia 200 (if accompanied with constipation).
For a more refined suggestion ...give full case history.

I have bought eup. Perf 200 and Rhus Tox 200.
She has deep pain in her knee joint with chill all over the body and fever which doesn't come off even with peracetamol.
Shall i give her both eup. perf and Rhus tox both one by one?

she is 52 years old and has knee pain occasionally.
suddenly yesterday evening she complaint of severe knee joint pain.after that she feels cold.
and I check fever which was 101.
The allopathy doctor says it is a kind of flu these days and prescribe here Nimulid with Paracetamol.
But no relief in fever and pain.
We live in Delhi.
She doesn't have any cough/cold/headache.

Give both meds in alteration 3 times a day...when pain and fever reduce...make it twice a day and then once a day.

I gave her eup perf one hour ago. and after half an hour her fever comes down to 99.
than after 45 minutes i gave her Rhus tox and her fever comes to 98.4.
I am very happy and thanks to you.

doctor,
the fever comes down after taking both the medicine and rises again after a few hours. then again she took the medicine and fever comes down.
apart from fever there is no/ a little relief in her knee pain which is very sharp and it pain more when she try to straighten her knees.

Knee pain will also go away...in due course with these meds.

she has already completed total 5 doses ( 3 doses yesterday and 2 today).
at present after 4-5 hrs of taking medicine the fever start rising. and her pain is also there.
My question is : can she take more doses of medicine ( more than 6) if still pain and fever is there?

one more development doctor. for 1-2 days she develops red color small lots of pimples on her hand and neck/face.
there is no itching/ no pain.
her hand/neck/face is full of these small pimples.
is this due to the medicine side effect or due to some skin infection.
will it go itself or she will have to take some medicine for this also.
kindly suggest accordingly.

Dear Doctor fever again rises after 3 hrs of taking medicine.
she has devlelop red color pimples on her hand, face and neck.
she still has no relief in pain in her knee joint.
at night she will take her 6th dose.
Please instruct further medicine for her.

Dear doctor,
One of my relative said it may be chickungunia as her skin is full of red pimples and she has severe joint pain.

If she is asking for water to drink ...every half hour but drinks only half a glass or cup...then arsenic alb 200 is needed.

I am not able to find Polyporus Pinacola here.
But as per your advise we will consult some allopathy doctor and will try to find exact problem.
In the meantime as Polyporus Pinacola is not available then can she continue E.P and R.T for the timebeing?
she is not thirsty.

Continue with EP and RT.
Give her three doses of Belladona 200 as well in a day. See if it gives benefit. Redness of face indicates the need for Belladona.
(In an emergency ...you can give 2 /3 meds in alteration).
