It means that your child has had a bad reaction to the remedy, either because it was not the right remedy or you have given too much or given it for too long. How long has the reaction been going on?

And how long has the worsening of the skin been going on?

Has the skin condition changed in any other way (new symptoms)?

It could be an aggravation, which in homoeopathy is often a prelude to the symptoms improving. The dose was definitely too large though. In skin diseases one should be very cautious about using dry doses (pillules) and they should instead be dissolved in water and only a small amount of that water taken.

At this stage you will have to wait a little while to see if it settles down. Aggravations usually only last a few days for most people, and children seem to recover much faster than adults.

Sulphur however is well known to aggravate skin conditions even if it is not the correct medicine. Only time will tell.
