Glaucoma - Optic Nerve Remedy

Hello,
My mothers has IOP 22 on right and 24 on left. She has mild myopia and mild burning sensation of the eyes when she does excessive reading or computer work.

I have noticed in several of the post the mention of the remedy OPTIC NERVE. I have tried several homeopathic pharmacies in the US, but can not find this remedy. Can anyone help me locate it?

I will also be using Osmium 6c once 2 daily.

Please let me know your thoughts on the protocol. I am a homeopathic student, but still learning.

Regard,

Julia

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is no homoeopathic remedy called Optic Nerve. As a student you should know that our remedies are all named according to the scientific name of the substance they are made from.

There may be some combination remedy out there with this title, but it is not a homoeopathic medicine. Homoeopathic means prescribed according to similar symptoms - an off-the-shelf medicine can never be homoepathic except by accident.

Thanks for your reply. I read through many, many post on Glaucoma from this web site and this 'remedy' was suggested many times. It was even noted with potency recommendations and the difference between dry and liquid doses. One of the pharmacies I called said they had heard of it but did did not carry it.

Yes, I do know how our remedies are named, but the fact it was mentioned over and over has me perplexed.

If this is not a remedy, then I am not sure what the Dr.'s from these post were suggesting.

Thanks,

Julia

I think I have seen that post as well. It is a combination remedy - it is not a standard homoeopathic meicine. Also, I believe it was a poster's personal formulae not a commercial one.
