Constant Tingling & Urination Urgency, Lg. Volume of UrineI am a 28 year old female, single and anemic, very heavy menstrual periods my whole life which has caused my anemia. Normal CBC in October of this year and tested for Thyroid and Diabetes. I have always urinated more than twice throughout the night, but six days ago, I found my self getting up over 10x to urinate every 20-40 mins. I do not struggle with voiding and each time I urinate, it is medium to full amount of urine. No burning. Constant urge to urinate (even after urinating remained).
Went to Dr and was put on Ciprofloxain 2 x a day. Symptoms seemed slightly better. Dr. did a urine culture and tested my urine. No bacteria, although they found many white blood cells. I have had chills and a fever for a few days although I do not notice as much. Went back to the Dr. five days after taking cipro and I still have a fever and sensation of feeling I always need to urinate.
Urination occurs mostly at night, NO burning, no excessive thirstand No pain. I do not notice the sensation as much when I am busy or moving around, but laying down for a nap or bed is miserable for me and I notice it MUCH more when I am NOT moving which makes me question which diseases/infections contribute to this?
Have some chills. Dr. said urine was also very concentrated and I still have fever. Blood pressure is normal. Told me to continue cipro another 5 days and prescribed ambien which has helped me sleep considerably. Annoyed with urge and tingling in my bladder. This started this month 10-12 days before my period is scheduled. Approx 3-5 days BEFORE I started experiencing these symptoms, I had a temporary sharp pain in my abdomen I associated with eating too fast. Pain went away after an hour. Not sure if this is related. Seems like a bladder infection has been ruled out. Awaiting more diabetes test results. I feel as if this will never go away...
