Hello Joe,I read several posts where you have treated people with GERD and asthma. I have similar problem but am confused as to which to start with - Nat Pos/Arnica or Nat Sulph.
I think I have GERD which develops into asthma. The usual what happens is that I start having a mild cough and slowly get breathless. After a few hours, I find difficulty breathing - I cannot think of lying down as I cannot breathe at all. There is severe wheezing. At the same time I develop a mild fever, burning eyes and very bitter taste in the mouth. When I pass urine its very hot and burns my skin. My chest feels very heavy and painful. Teeth become very sensitive and I feel the urge of rinsing my mouth with water because of the strong acidic taste in the mouth !
This lasts for about two to three days. I have been having this problem since I was 15. Sometimes I go months without any problem and then suddenly one day I get it. I do not understand well what causes it. Sometimes it happens when I have eaten my stomach full and then walked very fast or run up the stairs. Sometimes it happens immediately after eating some normal simple food ! I do not take any medicine when I get this. But I swallow a lot of garlic and keep drinking water. At night I sleep on a chair!
Five days back I had a dish made of curd for dinner. Immediately after, the problem started. The difference is that this time it doesnt seem to go away even after 5 days.
I fear that some horrible damage is slowly being caused by the acids inside. Am 29, single and going to get married next year.
Kindly advice.

PS : The potency of 30c is not available here in India. We only get 30x,200x,1M,50M doses. If I need to take Arnica, kindly advice if an alternative potency can be taken.

I cannot believe that you are not able to get the 30c potency of any remedy especially Arnica and if you will indicate where in India you live I shall be glad to guide you as to where you can get the remedy needed.
I failed to inticate that the Asthma you have reported is a direct result of your GERD and I have no doubt that it will disappear as soon as your GERD is cured by my Joepathy.

It is very likely that you are suffering from GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease) due to the Gastric Juice in your stomach refluxing up to your throat thereby causing the symptoms that you suffer from today.
Your remedies are as follows:
Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.
You can expect relief from your ailment hopefully within 24 hours.
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry.
No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

I have been taking Nat Phos for two days now, and my GERD is much much better. What is remaining is an extremely itchy throat which I guess should go too.
Kindly advice if I should continue the dose and for how long.
I also have another problem which has also been troubling me since I was 15 - sinusitis which maybe connected to GERD. Its a weird kind. I have tried hard to figure out what triggers it in vain. Summer or winter doesn't matter. But yes, when I have the attack and go out and stand in the sun I feel good.
*Everyday, when I get up in the morning, I sneeze several times. This continues for about half-an-hour after which it either stops or develops into what I call an 'attack'
* It always starts in the morning as soon as I get up. No matter the time I wake up - before sunrise or after sunrise ; at 8am or 10am - its starts when I get off the bed.
*As long as I am sleeping, its fine. Once the attack starts and I go back to bed and sleep, there is no sneezing or running nose. As soon as I get up, it starts !
*I tried changing the place I sleep; no difference.
*The attack always lasts for a day only. Starts decreasing around 5pm ~ 6pm.
*If I sleep in an AC room, travel in an AC train or bus, next morning I have the attack for sure.
*The attack gets worse in the afternoon and starts getting better towards the evening.
*I live near the sea; about 250m from the sea.
*The sneezes come continuously during an attack. The teeth get sensitive at the end of day.
I would be grateful to you if you can fine a remedy for this problem of mine.

I note that you have been helped by the Nat Phos 6x therapy I prescribed in just 2 days. You will note that I predicted that:

I have asked a friend in Chennai to buy Arnica 30c for me. But she will be coming down to my place only on Sunday. Therefore, I have not been able to start the Arnica dose.
