Viracose veins

I have viracose veins, predominately from my knees down to the tops of my feet and on my ankles. Spider veins and large wormy like ones. to say the least they are ugly and I am very self conscience of them. Lately (well actually its been about a year, I know it is a 'syptom' of the veins) my knees have started to itch - mostly in the evenings for sure or when I get warm or take a bath it seems to aggrivate it I dare not touch them or I would start to itch. Mostly on my left knee (front not behind) if I start to itch I have to make a conscience effort to stop or I will scratch till I bleed. It is not necessarily ON a vein that itches and not in any partucular place each time -just in general anywhere about the knee and upper shin area.
Are there any remedies which would be helpful??
Other thing to note: I have tooth decay aorund the gum line usually. I get irritaed or angered (which seems to be more often lately) I swear- which is something I rarely ever did before.
