Chronic Chest Infection

Hi, I'm a 36 year old female and have a virulent chest infection that doesn't seem to want to clear. It started on 26th Dec and although it has got marginally better, i still cant shake it off. Symptoms including a gravelly, chesty, lose cough - when I start coughing, I literally cant stop. I sometimes cough so much I think I'm going to vomit. When I cough it brings up a clear mucus from the lungs. Other symptoms including high fever and headache. It doesn't affect me much when I sleep, its when i'm awake that I cough more. I'm also asthmatic so it has aggravated my asthma.

I'm normally Phos in terms of constitutional type and have so far tried arsenicum 6C and hepar sulph 6C to try and clear it. They've helped ammeliorate the symptoms but haven't shifted them. Could you please advise a remedy.

Many thanks,

Zoe

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A single dose or upto three doses (at a gap of 12 hrs) of Phos 200 may help you.
