Retinal Bleeding-URGENT

Sir,
My father, age 46 yrs, is suffering from Retinal Bleeding from last 8 months. We went to the Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai for his treatment. The doctors there are not able to find out the reason for this case. My father has no other kind of disease like diabetes, BP, etc.

8 months back he found some black spots in his vision and those spots grew bigger and bigger in size each day. The doctors told that it has only one treatment in the world which is injection(Lucentis) in the retina which costs about Rs.50,000 per injection. He have had 4 injections in his right eye and 3 injections in the left till date. The bleeding in the left eye had got controlled. 3 days back he had a laser surgery in the right eye. But now the doctors are worried about his left eye as they can see some swelling in the optic nerve of the left eye. But my father had swelling in both the eyes from the beginning and so is the case with me too. My eyes and my paternal uncle's eye too have got some swelling in the optic nerves which is similar to that of Bilateral Papilledema. But the MRIs and other neurological tests revealed that there is no neurological problem with my father.
But 2-3 days back after a check-up the doctors found some increase in the swelling in my father's left eye. and they are much worried about it. They did MRV, but the report was all normal. Then they did fundusphoto test, which was normal too. They say that they would do Lumbar puncture(for some increased pressure in the brain or something like that) if the swelling is increased in the next month.

He had been under medication as follows:

*Prednisolon-80mg per day in diminishing doses for about 3 months.
*Imuran for the last 3 months and would be continued for the next 3 months too.
*Some kind of Steroids.

I want to know what can be done in this case as today we are standing nowhere as no cause of this problem has been diagnosed. We are really puzzled as to what to do now. Please HELP!
Waiting for a soon reply.

Thank YOU!
