This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I am not Dr. Joe but i must say that you are thinking correctly.

The main thing which most people are not aware of is that calcium suplements should NOT be taken. By calcium suplements i mean those in the form of calcium citrate and such which come in doses of up to 1 gram. They can even lead to heart attack in males.

Cell salts have and always will be the main source of mineral deficienties.

I believe you could also use Calc Fluor since it is the main bone/teeth building material a part from above mentioned Calc Phos.

And last, you should know that two different types of calcium check exist. One measures the calcium in the blood and other in the cells (i.e. cell salts)

Elevated calcium in the blood SHOULD NOT EXIST, and that is just what will happen if a person takes calcium suplements (not cell salts)

That thank increases the possibility of kidney stones since oxalates from food in contact with calcium create oxalate stones.

One other thing you should do is suplement your child with Vitamin D. It is of ut most importance for bone health, and Vitamin D is actually the main protection against all bacteria/viruses that attack our bodies.

Give your son foods rich in calcium like organic green veggies, small amounts of nuts, organic meat, kefir..

I don't know where you live. But Vitamin D is essential in winter where there is no sun light. If you live down under and it is sunny you don't have to suplement vitamin D.

Be sure not to use sun creams as they contain cancer forming supstances such as aluminium.

For protection use coconut oil, and about 15 minutes od sun exposion per day should do the trick. 15 minutes in the A.M. 15 minutes in the P.M. avoid the sun when it is at its highest, but don't wait for the sun to dissapear. :)

Foods rich in vitamin D are mostly fish.

Don't use COD liver oil hence the vitamin A in it is in the form of retinol (not beta carotene) and it actually stoped bodies use of vitamin D that is also found in COD liver oil.

Use regular fish oil but make sure that is has natural antioxidants made for preservation.

Thank you Theeya for a comprehensive analysis of Mishraneha's 9 month old baby's suspected calcium deficiency which is unusual for a baby.

I would suggest that the parents consult another doctor for their baby's 'deficiency'.
