Stimulating digestion in children?
Greetings!My son has a deep line running down his tongue, which indicates digestion issues. His tongue is very deep red, almost purple. His stools can be very solid to soft and yellowish. He has very vivid dreams, and often talks out loud, if this is helpful.
Is there a remedy that is known to help stimulate digestion?

deep red tongue indicates poor oxidation of blood (no good).
deep line in the tongue indicates kideny not in good state.
Both are not healthy indication. I would strongly suggest to do a complete blood and urine profile to see any thing indicative.
Send me an email with those report, if you decided to take them. I can then suggest medicines accordingly.

Thank you. May I ask where/how you suggest getting a blood/urine profile? We do not have a family doctor at the moment...
Also, I do not use this forum enough to know where to email you?
ETA: I'm editing my post to say something must have been going on (fever?) with my son the day I looked at his tongue..totally normal/pale pink. Feeling relieved!

I am glad to hear that the tongue is pink now. Please write back with any remaining symptoms for giving the medicine.

Here is what I can think of:
Foods he craves are mostly sweet. His disposition has been terribly grumpy and disconten--he's not flexible right now! Water consumption is fair.
His complexion is not as delicate as it once was (the pink of health?), it is now a more pasty white with red patches that spring up (small, 1/4' welts in diameter that dissipate in a day or so). They have also appeared as red dots. He seems to get the red patches or dots on a day when he might have some white sugar at school (we do talk about it, but he makes his choices).
Overall, his hair and skin have not been as lustrous. His eyes are not as bright. His urine is pale yellow.
