3 year old night teeth grinding

I have a 3 year old boy who grinds his teeth so much during sleep. Please help me with a good homeopathic med. I have tried Cina and Belladonna. None of them seemed to work. He talks during his sleep and is always restless!
He is otherwise a happy boy, very energetic, smart, friendly, talkative and stubborn.
Any suggestions?

Hello Dr. Sharma,
Last week I gave my son Cina as you suggested. He is no longer tossing and turning in bed. It was so bad before, he would hit his head all around his bed and would not stop moving around. He has a restful sleep now, which is a great thing, however, he is still grinding his teeth.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you so much

I have great success with Podophylum 30c, one dose before going to bed, every night for one week. You can either wait for the most respected Dr. Sharma or try this. Hope Dr. Sharma would not mind me sharing my experience here.

The next closest I give is Belladona 30c, similiarly next week, but rarely I had to do, since Podo 30 itself is complete and the results are permanent.

Thank you so much Reva. I will certainly give it a try! I am desperate to stop this, for his little teeth are grinding down :(
I will let you know in a week. :)
Thanks again

If the Cina has helped the sleep so dramatically, it could be worth pursuing that remedy a little further to see if it will improve the teeth grinding.

A general improvement is usually very significant in terms of the overall usefulness of a remedy.

How did you give the doses? Dry (pillules) or liquid? If you gave as liquid did you succuss (hit the bottle) before each dose - this makes each subsequent dose more effective.

Were there any other changes in your child's health or behaviour after using Cina apart from the dramatic improvement in sleep?

Remedies often need to be adjusted in terms of dosing or potency before changing to a new remedy. If you were using the correct one but the problem was with how it was being used, it can often be very hard to get back to it - especially when you tell other homoeopaths that it 'didn't work'. This is a great tragedy as sometimes people can avoid the correct remedy for years if not forever.
