Learning Disability Obese and Acne
I am posting this case about my son aged 18 years who is diagnosed with mental disorder which I am calling as learning disability. We are from tropical country India but now living in Canada. Son is 6-3 tall and mentally he is only a little child. His main problem is communicating and understanding. He is not violent or un-social and loves to mingle with people, pets, etc.He had a problem with digestion in the sense he cannot do his morning regular fresh-up and so we started on suppositories. Ever since he can only use the washroom with suppository. But his bowels are clear and he doesnt have offensive wind or something like that.
Now since a year he has steadily been developing acne and cyst which recently the doctor mentioned as nodule cyst acne of level-4. There are cysts as big as a blue-berry around his face and on his groin and between buttocks. All off these are extremely painful . In addition he has lumps under his arm-pits both and they do have regular water and pus oozing out. Giving him bath and clean-up is a big ordeal and these are the things we have done which thus far is not successful or yields any positive results.
Turmeric paste
Honey and cinnamon paste
Bitter squash
Drinks of celery, broccoli, cucumber, tomatoes as a colon cleanser
Homeopathy Silecia 30c
Dr Reckeweg R23 and R53
Regular Swimming pool and hot tubs
Currently he is on rhus tox 30c and mild antibiotics from family doctor.
I cannot tell how grateful me and my family will be for any help to first help him with his nodule cyst acne

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I note with some concern that none of the classical homeopaths have responded to your appeal for help for your 18 year old son during the past 3 days. I am not qualified in classical homeopathy as I practice what has been termed 'Joepathy' by some classical homeopaths and I shall try to help your son.
At the outset I must inform you that it is wise to treat his mental disability but I believe that I can at try to help him overcome his Constipation and his Acne with the remedies listed below:
Nodule Cyst Acne
Arnica 6c in the Wet dose which you will give him twice daily and also dampen his lesions with your fingertips as often as possible as this will help to heal them.
I have used this remedy successfully for Acne but I do not know how it will help his Nodule Cyst Acne.
Constipation
Nat Phos 6x dose 3 tablets taken thrice daily after meals.
This remedy will also reduce his weight by about 1kg per week.
I shall prescribe another remedy for his Mental Disability which I believe can help him but I shall not do so right now as it is important that his Acne and his Constipation is cured.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.
It is understood that you will stop all other medication and drugs that you may be giving him today.
Report his response weekly.

Thank you Joe - greatly appreciate this. Today I will shop for Arnica 6c liquid. Should I administer Nat Phos 6x at the same time? or wait till the 500 ml water is done? Its interesting that you mentioned weight loss as a rate of 1.0 kg/week
currently he is only applying calendula (Thompson) cream and staying mostly on liquid diet. the face acne is not as alarming as the one on pubic hair but thanks a million I will start with your program and report in a week

You will use only 3 drops in a 500ml bottle of spring water and use the water till you exhaust the bottle which is usually in about 3 months.
Remember to shake the bottle vigourously before each dose.

Glad to note that you have noticed some improvement in your son's Acne. You will continue with the Arnica even after his Acne is hopefully cured. I hope that you are applying the remedy water directly on the skin wherever the Acne nodules are visible. This direct application helps to accelerate the healing process.
The improvement in his bowel movements should hopefully continue and if necessary you can increase the dosage after every meal to 4 tablets. The idea is to avoid using the suppository. The weight loss will continue.

You can also foment his boils with a towel dipped in hot water to warm them taking care not to cause any burns on his skin. Apologies for the silence since April 10th. My son is going on the medications of NP, Silecia and Arnica water and wish to give a feed back on the same.
Weight loss- There was a significant loss in the first week of taking NP which is 3 weeks from now and since then the weigh scale is showing a steady number. His water intake and home made colon cleanser are being administered as recommended. BTW he is 255 lbs 6-2 loose muscle and body.
Cyst Acne: There as a sudden change in the first week and since then the change is constant. Actually there are some new ones coming up now and then. Based on the pain and discomfort the situation is still alarming.
Lumps under arms: Silecia does help in draining the pus and there is a drain everyday and accumulation over night again. Due to the pain his arm position and walking posture are changed and he continues to bear the pain and go on with daily life.
Overall I am thinking in the past two weeks there should be some visible changes and on my close observation it seems that he is status-quo no worse or no better.

I have observed that Nat Phos 6x fails to reduce weight if other drugs or remedies are used. Arnica is an exception and it does not seem to affect the weight reduction property of NP.
It is possible that addition of the Silicea 6x may have stopped the NP from acting. Stop it.
The main need today is to reduce his weight and NP has proved that it has worked. Give it every chance to do so.

I took my son to the dermitologist due to the uncontrolled outbreak of cycs and acne and he confirmed that its a case of Hidradenitis suppurativa suggested accutane a synthetic vitamin 'A' dose.
I am wondering if its ok with NP and arnica. Thanks for your help.

Hi David,
I couldnt tell which is good traditional homeopathy or Mr Joes biochem Jeopathy. Bottom line I am spending nights at the emergency hospital looking at nurses draining the discharge from my sons pubic area and under arms. I am willing to grasp with humility any help that will benefit my son. You gentlemen offer this services on the forum for free and its greatly appreciative in times we live in. Mr Joe was so kind to come in and help me spontaneously and I have been trying his medicines with a lot of patience from my side and my wifes and to the waiting period of my son.
One thing with children is when they are in pain they cry and other times that are playing and laughing so it lightens the parents heart and keeps hope on the horizon. I know there are very good medicines out there and needs a proper evaluation of the sickness to get the correct remedy.
It has been 2 months of Mr Joes application and though I see weight loss the affect on acne I am afraid is not there. This is not just normal acne there are pores on his body which discharge 24/7. Last night I drained enough to finish off a whole tissue box of napkins. I am a professional engineer and this affects my work and home to the extend that all our time are focused on this issue with my son. Needless to say being at the age of 52 I too suffer with some knee pain and the likes.
I appreciate your help and concern and pray for help from people like youself and Joe.
